This week we’ve been settling into my sister’s house, learning about grocery shopping, and starting on our journey to install solar at the house.
Until we have power, we can’t move into our house, so thankfully my sister is letting us use her guest house, “The FUNgalow,” while she’s in Alaska. The guest house is on my parent’s property, about a mile from our own house.
Dutchy went to the vet because her extra vestigial toe was bothering her. She had surgery to remove it (cost $230 US), is recovering nicely, and now both dogs have cones and they look ridiculous.
